Music is the perfume that accents each and every one of our lives. One song, one set of lyrics can evoke such powerful range of emotions.  We ourselves may linger still in a riff, a line, a verse, an outro.  Music has the power to touch people in a way that nothing else can, literally to transform others and thus the world.  It is a vehicle for change, not just the world outside yourself, but also the world inside.  Without music where would we be today?  Better yet…where would you be?

My love of music was inherent to my being & eternal from the moment I entered this world.  My love of guitar developed at roughly same time that I started writing poetry in my teens, as a result of the great variety of experiences life offered up to me.  Out of all of those moments came a compelling urge, a distillation of feelings, a need to play guitar and to write music.  I have never stopped playing or writing & I never will.  There is solace music blesses me with that I cannot describe and nothing else provides.

If I were asked to describe the acoustic stuff I am writing and recording right now I would say it sounds like a cross between everything that I listen too.  Catchy stylized acoustic riffs, simple poetic lyrics about trying to let go of all the things we all seem hold onto in one way or another.  Moments seared into the mind which produce a feeling that only a song can recreate. The struggles we all go through as we attempt to transcend issues of being human.  Any intuitive insight that comes to me when I can’t fall asleep at night and the gifts of raw beauty that have been given to us in this life.  These are the things that matter to me, so this is what I write about.
